PNP officers’ wives hold ‘help’ events in Sagada

SAGADA, Mountain
Province – The Police Regional Office Cordillera Officers’ Ladies Club headed
by their adviser Ms Bong Lee visited this tourist town Sept. 9 and conducted “barangavanihan” activities as part of their commitment to support
the PNP's programs.
Lee, together with the Mountain Province PNP Spouses Association kicked off events with a mass at Mount Carmel officiated by Lt. Col. Jonathan L Chy and Fr. Marcial Castañeda.
They later attended blood-letting activity at the Municipal Hall.
Lee headed donation of boxes of face mask, medicines, alcohol and fruit bearing tree seedlings which included contributions from Col. Peter Tagtag, Lt. Col. Anna Liza Macapinlac and private individuals,
These were given to Dept. of Education Mountain Province and will be distributed to different schools in Sagada.
The OLC also held tree-planting with various fruit-bearing tree seedlings planted at the vicinity of Saint Mary the Virgin Anglican Church.
The PNP OLC-PROCor is a club of wives of police officers.
