Ifugao adapts strict entry rules at borders

LAGAWE, Ifugao – Gov. Jerry Dalipog
issued executive order No. 48 adapting restricted status to
maintain localized entry protocols at its borders as the
province was placed under general community quarantine Oct. 1-31.
This, as Ifugao recorded a total of 8,107 confirmed cases with 6,601 recoveries, 131 deaths and 1,375 active cases as of Oct. 8.
Dalipog said proactive measures in accordance with orders was necessary to ensure protection and preservation of community’s health, safety and welfare.
The guidelines include mandatory wearing of face mask and face shield; movement of people for essential needs and works; business establishments; recreation; transportation and other activities in the community.
Mass gatherings such us but not limited to concerts, sporting events, other entertainment activities, community assemblies and non-essential work gatherings shall be prohibited including in residences with another person outside of one’s immediate household.
For non-residents government and private workers entering the province on official travel, they will be required to fill-up or submit health declaration form including temperature scan upon arrival at the checkpoint border and original certified true copy of travel order issued by their agency.
Private workers on official travel are required also to submit negative result of antigen test or RT-PCR test conducted within 72 hour. In the absence of negative test results, the traveler shall at least present vaccination card.
The guidelines stated also that government and private workers currently residing in the province traveling daily or weekly through the province border on home-to-work will be required to fill-up and submit health declaration form including temperature scan upon arrival at the checkpoint border.
Valid government issued ID or proof of employment, vaccination card or negative result of antigen test if not vaccinated.
Submission of health declaration, temperature scan, vaccination card and negative antigen or RT-PCR test is also applied to returning Ifugao residents, however these individuals are subjected to testing in the absence of negative test.
Returning overseas Filipinos and foreign workers are required to present valid Philippine passport, travel document issued by Philippine mission or ACR card issued by the Bureau of Immigration whichever is applicable; valid government issued ID; medical certificate issued by the bureau of quarantine; negative result of most recent RT-PCR test conducted upon arrival in the Philippines and vaccination card of any and other proof of documents that the OFW has undergone medical check-up upon arrival.
