12 wanted persons nabbed in Cordillera; no crime in 59 towns

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Regional
police tracked down and arrested 13 wanted persons in Cordillera from Oct. 30
to Nov. 5.
According to the records of Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division, Baguio City Police Station recorded the highest number of arrests with six followed by Benguet Provincial Police Ofice with three, Abra with two, Kalinga and Ifugao PPO with one arrest each.
The manhunt operations were highlighted with the arrest of an individual listed as most wanted person in municipal level.
Also, as the result of the intensified police presence and campaign against criminality, during the same period, 59 municipalities in the Cordillera Region and four police stations of the Baguio City Police Office recorded zero crime incidents.
In Abra, 22 out of 27 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents while in Benguet, 7 out of 13 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents.
In Mountain Province and Ifugao, nione of their municipalities recorded zero crime incidents while in Kalinga and Apayao, six municipalities recorded zero crime incidents.
In Baguio City, Camdas, Aurora Hill, Irisan and Marcos Highway Police stations recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in Baguio City.
