37 Cordillera PNP officers attend investigation course

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – A total of 37 police
noncommissioned officers attended the “investigation officers basic course
(IOBC)” here at regional police headquarters starting Nov. 11.
The IOBC is a 45-day course that enables PCOs to possess advanced investigative skills that would make them competent and well-rounded PCOs in detective and investigation work while possessing leadership and management skills.
The opening ceremony was graced by the Cordillera police deputy regional director for operations Col. Ronald V. Gayo.
Present also were chief of Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division Col. Ranser A. Evasco; chief of Regional Special Training Unit Col. Leon P. Talleo and the chief of Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division Lt. Col. Ferdinand Oydoc.
In his message, Gayo told police significance of continuous investigative education by participating in relevant training and workshops.
He urged participants to acquire competence in investigating crimes.
