Lumber seized in N. Vizcaya

SANTA FE, Nueva Ecija – A
47-year-old truck driver was arrested for transporting undocumented narra
lumber worth P1.4 million here on Sunday, Feb. 5.
Police identified the suspect as Ronaldo Demate, a resident of San Agustin, San Miguel, Bulacan.
The cargo with a total volume of 2,975.333 board feet was loaded in an Isuzu wing van truck with unauthorized license plate.
The truck and forest product were turned over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Calitlitan, Aritao, this province.
Suspect is under the custody of Santa Fe Police Station for documentation and filing of appropriate case against him.
