Baguio b’gay officials pass away; cited

BAGUIO CITY -- Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed separate city council resolutions expressing sympathy and condolences of the city’s officials and constituency on the recent passing of several of this summer capital’s barangay officials.
Resolution no. 457, series of 2023, was for Conchita Hempton Rillera, former punong barangay, kagawad and secretary of Saint Joseph Village who died at the age of 85 while resolution no. 447, series of 2023, was for Renato Lumasang, former kagawad of Cabinet Hill-Teacher’s Camp barangay from 1989 to 1994.
Meanwhile, resolution no. 435, series of 2023, was dedicated to the late Bonifacio Ayson Bustos, barangay kagawad from 1997 to 2013 then punong barangay of Padre Burgos from 2013 until the time of his demise.
All of the approved measures praised the unwavering dedication, commitment, integrity and tireless efforts of the mentioned barangay officials that have made significant impacts on the lives of their constituents and to the betterment of their respective barangays.-Gaby B. Keith
