Peredo heads winners in Cordillera Region police shoot fest

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. David K. Peredo Jr. including 13 other police commissioned and non-commissioned officers from the different regional police units were awarded here on July 7 and received r trophies for winning in different categories during the recently conducted PROCOR “marksmanship enhancement and fun shoot for a cause” held at Shilan firing range of this town, said a report of the regional police information office.
Peredo Jr. bagged the champion title in command group category, while Col. Julio S. Lizardo was 1st runner-up.
Meanwhile, awarded as champion for police commissioned officer lady shooter category was Capt. Brenda Gupaal of Regional Intelligence Division.
For the individual senior PCO category, champion was Col. Damina D. Olsim, Benguet police director.
Olsim was also awarded as 2nd runner-up winner in PROCOR aggregates category, while Col. Jugith Del Prado, chief of Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division was 1st runner-up.
In individual junior PCO category, champion was Lt. Fererick Talingdan of Abra PPO.
Talingdan was also awarded as champion in PROCOR aggregates category while 1st runner-up was Maj. Edward Focasan of RID and 4th runner-up PROCOR aggregates.
Meanwhile, in individual senior PNCO category, champion was Msg Rowel Talingdan of Abra PPO, while the 1st runner-up was CMS Ruel Lapena of Cordillera Administrative Regional Training Center.
In individual junior PNCO category, champion was SSg Joey Gutierez of Regional Highway Patrol Unit who was also champion in Agregates Production Division and in the Aggregates Division Production LEA.
Cpl Kenny Tabayag of Ifugao PPO was 1st runner-up and also 1st runner-up in PRO COR aggregates.
Meanwhile, for the special award under the police non-commissioned officer lady shooter category, champion was Cpl. Renellaine Ducog of Ifugao Police Provincial Office.
Cpl. Mariefe Dulnuan of Benguet PPO was 1st runner-up while Cpl. Wendelyn Vizcara of Baguio CPO was 2nd runner-up.
The shoot fest aimed to raise funds to assist those in need while showcasing the skills of the participants and gun enthusiasts.
8 Cordi PNP officers awarded for police community relations

and Cameron P. Odsey, regional Agriculture (DA) executive director led awarding
of Philippine National Police medals to eight regional police officers for
“meritorious achievements in police community relations.”Awardees received their medals during here July 3.
Lt. Col. Ruel D. Tagel, acting commander of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 and Pat. Leah Joy Meniosa of RMFB15 were awarded Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya (PNP Relationship Medal) for conduct of medical/dental Mission in Barangay Balugan, Sagada, MountainProvince on June 10.
Same award was presented to Lt. Col. Greg D. Ammiyao, deputy chief of Regional Community Affairs and Development Division while non-uniformed personnel Elizabeth Cedo of RCADD received Medalya ng Kasanayan for facilitating Fun Bike, Walk for Peace, and Zumba, which were participated in by personnel of regional police and fire department personnel, barangay-based organizations and different advocacy support groups in Baguio City on April 21.
Meanwhile, Capt. Ilarde B. Agustin, chief of police and Cpl. Jack A. Suldayan, both of Kapangan, Benguet Municipal Police Station received Medalya ng Ugnayang for constructing a one-story classroom building at Gaswiling Integrated School in Kapangan.
Also awarded were Capt. Denio G. Pacio, chief of police and SMS Guensel T. Oloan, both of Bauko, Mountain Province for holding event “moving the youth towards peace and development,” which was participated in by students of Mabaay National High School in Bauko, Mountain Province.
