8 Cordi PNP officers awarded for deeds

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Recognizing their efforts and contributions to the achievement of the PNP’s mission and vision, the Police Regional Office Cordillera awarded PNP medals to eight personnel and certificates of appreciation to two stakeholders here Sept. 18, the regional police information office reported.
Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. David K. Peredo Jr. and deputy regional director for operations Col. Ronald V. Gayo led the awarding.
A plaque of recognition and Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP efficiency medal) was awarded to Col. Julio Lizardo, regional staff chief and NUP Josephine P. Mayangao, from the Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division for their efforts that led PRO Cordillera to garner highest rating for the documentation and presentation category during program review and analysis for first semester 2023 on Sept. 12–14 at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Medalya ng Papuri (PNP commendation medal) was awarded to Capt. Francis Dangiwan III, PEMS Rolando P Bongallon, CMS Eliezer C Yucaddi, all from the 2nd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company, for their assistance that led to rescue of two missing foreign nationals Sept. 2-3 in Banaue, Ifugao.Cordillera police director Brig. Medalya ng Papuri was also awarded to SSg. Frederick S Sagsago, Cpl Mikhail F De Vera, and Pat. Aldrin T Galbey of Baguio City Police Office for assisting a motorcycle driver whose fan belt broke along Camp 7, Kennon Road, Baguio City on Sept. 10.
Col. Gilbert Fati-ig, chief of Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division, received certificate of recognition for having the cleanest office for the week.
Meanwhile, certificate of appreciation was also presented to Maria Christine Dimas, received by Alrene Olsim, for donating public address system equipment to the Regional Chaplain Service of PRO Cordillera Sept. 10 at Saint Joseph Parish, Camp Dangwa.
Dona Digna S. Rosario, directress of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Montessori, Inc., received the same certificate for donating tables and chairs on August 26 to the Child Development Center, Camp Dangwa.
