10 Cordillera PNP brass cited for accomplishments

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. David K. Peredo Jr. led the awarding of Philippine National Police pedals to 17 regional police officers at the regional police headquarters here at Camp Dangwa Oct. 2.
    Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) was given to Capt. Ricardo C. Bengwic and SSg. Harvey A. Gallevo of Ifugao Police Provincial Officefor their efforts that led to arrest of the no. 7 most wanted person in Ifugao.
    The same award was given to Maj. Mathew T. Burgos and SSg Allen D Tico of Benguet PPO for the arrest of the no. 6 MWP in Benguet.
    Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to Col. Arnol R. Razote, chief of Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD), for being the Chairman of the Technical Working Group during crafting of awards called “comprehensive guidelines and parameters on conferment of awards to PRO Cordillera personnel.”
    The same award was given to assistant division chiefs and TWG members: lieutenant colonels Nixon L. Laoyan, Jolly N. Ngayaan, Greg. D. Ammiyao, Pelita P. Tacio, Alln. P. Guyguyon, Rodelio D. Olsim, Lt. Col. Johnny W. Balaki and police majors Aurelio P. Alabado, Willy D. Dumansi and EMS Alexander O Sumawang.
    Meanwhile, Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal) was given to Capt. Jesson B. Bay-an and SSg Arnel B. Buliyat, of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15, for rescuing a tourist with Alzheimer’s disease at Camp 4, Tuba, Benguet.
    Certificate of Recognition was also given to the Regional Public Information Office received by Lt. Col. Carolina F. Lacuata, chief RPIO, for being adjudged the cleanest office this week from Sept, 25 to 30.
