Five men arrested for various crimes

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The campaign of the Police Regional Office in the Cordillera against lawless elements scored recently with the arrest of five wanted persons, who are facing grave offenses.

The campaign for the arrest of wanted persons is pursuant to “Letter of Instruction Manhunt Brave” which calls for intelligence operatives to conduct 24-hour surveillance in the efforts to arrest lawless elements and give justice to their victims.

La Trinidad police operatives arrested brothers Ferdinand Samo y Serra and Rodel Samoy Serra in their hideout at Balili, La Trinidad.

They are both residents of Luna, Apayao by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by regional trial court Judge Quirino Andaya for frustrated murder.

The arrested persons were presented in court and committed in the Luna district jail in Luna, Apayao.

Subsequently, elements of the Tabuk municipal station led by SPO4 Ardi Compas arrested Jhon Lambayog y Tagart, 63, single, musician, of Agbanwag, Tabuk, Kalinga in the Resurrection Church in Tabuk.

Two suspects in separated child abuse cases, one of whom is considered as the seventh most wanted person in La Trinidad, were also arrest in the province.

They are Ruel Lacsina Caparasa, 37, single, of Buyagan, La Trinidad Benguet;’ and Frankie Quiao Ballesteros, 21, single of Pinget, Baguio City. – Dexter A. See
