ANGELES CITY– Central Luzon police director Chief Supt, Leon Nilo de la Cruz relieved yesterday Oct. 15 this city’s police chief amid the rising number of unsolved killings and other crimes.
“I just don’t like the growing number of unsolved crimes anymore,” De la Cruz told newsmen following the shooting of a Customs officer at the Clark Freeport and the theft of a van in Barangay Sto. Rosario on Oct. 11.
Senior Supt. Pierre Bucsit was replaced by Senior Supt. Dan Bautista, who used to be the head of the personnel department of the Central Luzon police based at Camp Olivas in the City of San Fernando. -- George Trillo
