Comelec starts voters’ registration in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – New and transferee voters may now register at satellite centers as to the schedule jointly released by the office of Councilor Joel Alangsab and the Commission on Elections for Baguio-Benguet. 

Registration which went on May 12 and 19 for District 1, Rizal Elementary School; and District 2, Engineers Hill barangay hall, respectively, shall go on for District 3 at Gabriela Silang Barangay on May 26 and on June 2 for District 4, at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) auditorium.
               
District 5 registration shall be at City Camp Proper barangay on June 9, with Irisan barangay registrants having their own schedule on June 12.
               
District 6 registrants may go to MRR-Queen of Peace on June 16, while District 7 has its registration at Sto. Nino-Slaughter Barangay on June 23.
               
Other schedules: June 30, District 8 at Lucban Elementary School; District 9 at Bayan Park Village on July 7; District 10 at Upper General Luna brgy on July 14; District 11 at Outlook Drive brgy on July 21; District 12 at Loakan Proper brgy on July 27 and Loakan Apugan on July 28.
               
District 13 registrants are requested to be at BCPO Substation 8 on August 4; District 14 at Bakakeng Norte/Sur on August 10 and Dontoganbrgy on August 11; District 15 at Lourdes Subdivision Extension on August 18; District 16 at Middle Quezon Hill brgy on August 25 and Asin Road brgy on August 27.
               
District 17 shall have its registration at Magsaysay Private road on Sept. 1; District 18 at the T. Alonzo brgy basketball court on Sept. 8; District 19 at East Modernsite church on Sept. 15; and District 20 at Holy Ghost Extension brgy on Sept. 22.
               
Camp 7 registrants are asked to register on Sept. 29 while Fairview brgy, PMA Fort del Pilar and Country Club Village are awaiting schedule.

A special registration for inmates shall also be done at the Baguio City Jail compound on May 28.             
           
Interested and qualified voters should bring their valid identification cards and  documents or birth certificate when registering. Registration is also being done Mondays to Fridays during office hours at the Comelec office.
