3 young carnappers arrested in Abra town

BANGUED,
Abra – Three alleged carnappers were successively arrested by local police here
after they reportedly took a blue Rusi motorcycle parked near the public market
around 6 p.m. Monday.
Chief Supt.
Benjamin B. Magalong, regional police director, identified the suspects as
Franklin Gerandoy Brazas, 21,of Nagtipulan, Lagangilang, Abra and
presently residing at Linasin, Zone 1, Bangued; Jonathan Cati Castañeda,
18 of Linasin Zone 1, Bangued and Emmanuel Cati Molina, 19, also of Linasin.
Police
investigation showed Dion Bilgera Domingo, 22, also of Linasin parked his
Rusi motorcycle in front of the Bangued public market and after a while, he
noticed that his motorcycle was driven by the suspects that tried to speed
away.
Domingo chased
them until he was able to grab Brazas that caused the motorcycle to topple down
and with the aid of a security guard,Brazas was arrested while the two others
escaped from the scene.
In a follow
up police operation, Castañeda and Molina were arrested inside the Abra School
Institute of Science and Technology compound, Zone 3, Bangued, Abra through the
cooperation of Brazas who provided the law enforcers vital information on their
whereabouts.
