Village exec dies in Vizcaya road mishap

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – A barangay councilor was killed and 18 others were injured when their jeepney rolled over along the national highway in Barangay Beti, Aritao town here on Tuesday.

Benito Bugtong of Barangay Canabuan in Sta. Fe town died at the scene, police said.

Initial investigation showed that Bugtong and the injured passengers were thrown off the passenger jeepney  (BVL-464) when it crashed into a concrete barrier before it turned over.
