Nueva Vizcaya farmers get P140-M

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – The Department of Agriculture (DA) has awarded P140 million in projects and farm equipment to farmers in Bagabag town in Nueva Vizcaya.

Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol and Nueva Vizcaya Gov. Carlos Padilla witnessed the turnover of the equipment, projects, livestock and seeds as part of the DA’s “Biyaheng Bukid” program on Thursday.

Among the equipment were a mini tractor; cassava pulverizer, granulator, diggers and graters; corn planters as well as boats and nets.

Piñol also awarded P81,932,900  to the provincial government for nine livelihood projects, six farm-to-market roads and a bio organic composting machine of the Nueva Vizcaya Agricultural Terminal.
