2 slain for ‘drawing guns’ against cops

PULILAN, Bulacan -- Roy Ramos, with aliases of Taroy and Talugo, and his partner, identified only as Rarat, residents of Barangay Cristo here were killed when they allegedly drew their guns during a sting Tuesday.

Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat, Bulacan police acting director, said Ramos was a “high-value” drug pusher.

In Pampanga, Maria Victoria Soriano, treasurer of Barangay Plaza Burgos in Guagua, was arrested on Sunday. She reportedly yielded five sachets of shabu and P40,000 in cash. – Ric Sapnu
