Garcia is new JHMC president

BAGUIO CITY- Allan R. Garcia replaced Dr. Jamie Eloise M. Agbayani as president and chief executive officer of John Hay Management Corp., a government-owned-and-controlled corporation.

Following his appointment from President Duterte, Garcia took his oath as member of JHMC board of directors and as newly installed JHMC president and CEO Jan. 12, before Gregorio D. Garcia, III, chairperson of Bases Conversion and Development Authority board of directors.

The oath-taking was held at the BCDA corporate center in Taguig during stockholders meeting witnessed by BCDA president and CEO Vivencio Dizon, Silvestre Afable, JHMC board chairperson and other members of the board.

Garcia said he remained “optimistic the overall thrust of the Duterte administration to build, will be realized through commitment to public service and good governance.”

Addressing Garcia and others present, Dizon said, “Do what is right and you will never go wrong.” 

He added the JHMC is full of potentials, given its resources and it should continue to be more innovative and open to business proposals to attract investments.

JHMC is a subsidiary of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority.
