Two apartments burned in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – Two apartment buildings was razed by fire here Tuesday around 12:39 a.m. long Rimando Road, West Modern Site Aurora Hill.

Police said the razed two-storey building La Residencia and Generosa Apartment, was owned by Reymar Cachuela Francisco, 67, businessman, of San Miguel Village, Makati City.

Another two-storey apartment owned by Oscar Andaya Lomibao, 65 businessman was also burned. 

Investigation revealed the fire started around 12:39 a.m. at the attic of La Residencia and Generosa Apartment and escalated to the attic of the neighboring Lomibao residence.

Firemen put off the fire and declared it extinguished around 2 a.m. by Fire Insp. Jesus Yango. No person was injured during the incident with damages being determined.
