Communist rebels burn construction equipment

TUGUEGARAO CITY – Suspected New People’s Army rebels stormed a construction firm in Barangay Cabua-an, Maddela, Quirino Monday and burned heavy equipment.

Around 20 rebels burned two cement mixers, two backhoes and a compactor worth P11 million owned by Alvin Dy, said Chief Supt. Robert Quenery, Cagayan Valley police director. – Raymund Catindog
