Village chief shot dead in Tagudin

Union – The chairman of Barangay Salvacion in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur was gunned
down at around 7 p.m. on Monday.
Baltazar
Lodia Sr. died on the way to the Ilocos Sur District Hospital.
A manhunt
for the suspect identified as Rufino Gonzaga is underway. Probers are eyeing a
grudge as the motive for the killing. – Jun Elias
