One of two Ifugao highway robbers in P32-K heist known

LAMUT,
Ifugao – One of two hold-uppers who robbed a collector of a lending company of
around P32,000 cash, cell phone, calculator among other items here has been
identified as Rey Bannawol Biclad, previously charged for alarm and scandal.
Victim Eric Rabina Reyon, 23, single,
Filipino, ASA Lending collector told
police he was stopped by Biclad who had handgun and a still unidentified man
along Hapid Road around 11 a.m. of Sept. 29 and robbed of the items.
Reyon said he was on
his way back to Poblacion, Lamut on board his motorcycle, when the two suspects
suddenly flagged him down at the boundary of Sanafe and Hapid, both barangays
of Lamit.
One of the suspects
pointed the gun at him causing him to stop. They searched him and took the
following: P29,400 cash, back pack containing his flare J1 Cherry Mobile cell phone
worth P4,000, calculator, documents and his wallet containing cash amounting to
P2,650.
The suspects took the
key of the motorcycle and threw it at the grassy portion below the road and
instructed him to run to Hapid which he did. Reyon said he rode a jeep bound to
Poblacion and immediately reported the incident to Lamut police.
Upon arrival, the investigator
showed mug shots of previously arrested persons. Reyon identified one in the photographs
as one of the two who robbed him as Biclad. Lamut
police are now hunting the two suspects.
