STO. TOMAS, Pangasinan -- A councilor of this town suffered mere abrasions when he managed to dodge the bullets in a gun attack Monday.
Ely Ramos had just arrived at his house in Barangay Poblacion East at around 9 a.m. when unidentified motorcycle-riding men opened fire.
Senior Superintendent Wilson Joseph Lopez said Ramos was taken to the Sto. Tomas Municipal Health Unit for treatment.
Two bullet shells for a gun of an unknown caliber were recovered at the scene.
A manhunt for the suspects is ongoing.
