P1 M bounty for killer of Subic businessman

OLIVAS, Pampanga – The family of slain businessman Dominic Sytin is offering a
P1 million reward to anyone with vital information that will lead to the
identification and arrest of the gunman or mastermind of the killing last week,
Central Luzon police director Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel announced.
Coronel added that a
task force has been created to solve the killing of the prominent businessman.
A
sketch of the assassin has also been released by the police.
Sytin, founder and chief
executive officer of the United Auctioneers Inc., the biggest auctioneer of
heavy equipment in Subic Freeport, was shot in the head by a lone gunman as he
was about to enter a hotel in the freeport.
The gunman sped off on a
motorcycle.
Ruben de Guzman,
president of Metro Olongapo Chamber of Commerce, expressed shock over the
killing as called on authorities to solve the case and calm alarmed investors.
