Baguio cops trace carnap group in Angeles City

ANGELES CITY -Two members of the Pineda carnap group were arrested here last week by Cordillera police who traced them in this city.
Joint personnel of Tuba police Station, Provincial Intelligence Branch, Benguet, Provincial Police and Angeles City Police Station arrested Lady Bundalian Ronquillo, 28, of 4228 Gail St. Nepo Subdivision, Barangay Cutcut Wednesday night. She was apprehended inside a vehicle parked in a garage at San Vicente St., Barangay Tabun.
The next day in the afternoon, her companion identified as Brian Gomez Baesa, 34, of 3239 San Fabian St., Barangay San Jose, was cornered at San Martin St., San Jose, Angeles City, Pampanga after Ronquillo divulged his hiding place.
 Ronquillo and Baesa are members of the Pineda Criminal Group which has been involved in a series of robbery, carnapping, illegal drugs trafficking and other illegal activities operating in Angeles City and nearby municipalities.
Prior to their arrest, the duo, together with their unidentified companions ransacked the Cayat residence at Bayacsan, Taloy Sur, Tuba, Benguet morning of Oct. 4 where they carted away  personal belongings and cash all amounting to more than
P100,000 then fled aboard a silver gray Toyota Innova with plate ABR 8097.
Both were positively identified through closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage that led to their identification.
 Both suspects are now under custody of Tuba police while  charges were readied against them.

 3 nabbed in Bokod for malicious mischief

BOKOD, Benguet – Three persons were arrested here Monday for malicious mischief. Nabbed at Sawmill, Bobok-Bisal was Montilla Daway Jr. on order of Judge Jonathan Chavez Segundo of MCTC, Kabayan-Bokod, Benguet for two counts. Bail was set at P4, 000 for each count.
A woman was arrested here at the same area for same violation 
Arrested was Marlyn Daway after Judge Jonathan Chavez Segundo also issued warrant against her.
Still in Bokod, John Alperez was also arrested Monday after Judge Segundo issued warrant against him also for malicious mischief with bail set at P4, 000 for the suspect’s temporary liberty.

BAGUIO CITY – A man was arrested here Wednesday for physical injuries. Nabbed at 105 Gabriela Silang was Mark Anthony Jovinal Bie by virtue of warrant issued by Judge Roberto Mabalot of MTCC, Baguio City who set bail of P6, 000 for his temporary liberty. 

 Theft lands woman in jail

BAGUIO CITY – A woman was arrested here Wednesday for theft. Nabbed was Jenevive De Guzman Dulay by virtue of warrant issued by Judge Melita Amylesha G. Delson-Macaraeg of MTC, La Trinidad, Benguet. Bail was set at P10, 000.

 Woman granted P36-K bail for grave coercion

BAGUIO CITY – A judge set bail of P36,000 to a woman arrested here Wednesday for three counts of grave coercion. Nabbed at City Camp Proper was Helen Carpiso Cabanban after warrant was issued against her by Judge Leody Opolinto of MTCC Branch 3, Baguio City.

BAGUIO CITY – A woman wanted for three counts of grave coercion was arrested here Wednesday along Legarda Road. Nabbed was Rowena Gobres Prades after warrant was issued against her by Judge Leody Opolinto of MTCC, Branch 3, Baguio City. Bail was set at P12,000 for each case.

BAGUIO CITY – A man was arrested here Wednesday for three counts of grave coercion. Nabbed at 118 City Camp Proper was Noel Florendo Pineda after warrant was issued against him by Judge Leody Opolinto of MTCC, Branch. 3, Baguio City. Bail was set at P12,000 for each case.

BAGUIO CITY – A man was nabbed here Wednesday for three counts of grave coercion. Nabbed at No. 115 City Camp Proper was Victor Florendo Carpiso by virtue of warrant issued by Judge Leody Opolinto of MTCC, Branch. 3, Baguio City. Bail was set at P12,000 for each count.

Man held for theft

BAGUIO CITY – Police arrested a man here Monday at Justice Hall die theft. Nabbed was Orlando M. Clemente after warrant was issued against him by Judge Abraham B. Borreta of RTC Branch 59, Baguio City with bail set at P24, 000.

 Lasciviousness lands man in jail

BAGUIO CITY – A certain Donne Halili was nabbed here Monday for acts of lasciviousness. This, after Roberto Mabalot, Judge of MTCC, Branch 1, Baguio City issued warrant against him with bail set at of P36, 000 for his temporary liberty.

Six ‘drug pushers, couriers’ fall in anti-drug operations

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet --- Police apprehended six drug personalities in the Cordillera recently. 
Nabbed Oct. 4, were three men  in separate buy-bust operations initiated by operatives of Buguias and Mankayan tons police.
Florante Yong-en Fernandez Jr was arrested at the parking lot of Clean Oil gasoline station at Upper Abatan, Buguias, Benguet. Confiscated from his possession were three sachets of shabu and P1,000 cash, while Miller Delfin Ambros aka Delson, was arrested at a videoke bar located at Bacoling Compound, Abatan, Buguias, Benguet. Seized from him were two sachets of shabu and Ph1,000 cash.
Meanwhile, Joven Ediong Plomen a.k.a Paksi was arrested at Pico, La Trinidad, after one sachet of shabu, P1,000 and mobile phone were confiscated from his possession.
Meanwhile, three alleged drug couriers were arrested after they were flagged down in a checkpoint along the national road in Sitio Iyapan, Kabugao, Apayao night of Oct. 3.
The checkpoint operation was staged by operatives of kabugao police, in coordination with PDEA. Alleged drug couriers were identified as Lymboy Alawin, 25, of Atok, Flora, Apayao; Ebrahim Arrid Bartolome, 20, of Poblacion West, Flora and Marvin Abong Baylon, 33 of Caloocan City. 
Prior to their arrest, police received information that an alleged Blue Lancer Mitsubishi with plate Number RAL 275 will be transporting illegal drugs from Poblacion, kabugao, Apayao. Immediately, checkpoint was established that led to the arrest of the suspects and the confiscation of 11 sachets of suspected shabu.
The trio are now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 which was filed in court.
A regional police report noted increase of local tourists transporting marijuana and other drugs in the Cordillera.
