SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela -- A business process outsourcing operator
and 16 of his alleged cohorts and workers were arrested on July 24 after they
were caught operating a suspected illegal cybersex porn hub for foreign
clients.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)
said I-Link Business Processing Outsourcing Services business owner John
Leonard Deniega Llena and his other workers would be indicted for cybercrime
and human trafficking because they were luring foreign clients with sex
videos and photographs in exchange for money paid via online at their office in
Calao West in this city.
National Bureau of Investigation-Isabela office chief
Timoteo Rejano told local media morning that of July 25 they were on the
lookout for Llena’s cohorts, Wilbert Tolentino and Warly Garcia.
The “cyberporn hub,” which goes under the Warlink Network
Group (WNG), was uncovered based on a complaint by a girl, who allegedly worked
for them and did not get paid.
The complainant said she and the other girls did not get
paid salaries unless they could get payments from foreigners for their online
sex services.
NBI agents conducted the arrest with representatives of
the Regional Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking, Department of Social
Welfare and Development and Department of Labor and Employment.
