35 wanted persons nabbed in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet– Cordillera police arrested 35 wanted persons in the region, four of which were listed as top most wanted person last week, regional police director Brig. Gen. R’win Pagkalinawan said.
    Of the 35, Baguio City Police Office recorded the highest number of arrests with 11 apprehensions followed by Abra Police Provincial Office with eight arrests, Benguet with seven; Ifugao, five; Kalinga, two and Mt. Province and Apayao with one each.
    A total of four top most wanted persons were arrested with two from Benguet and one each in Apayao and Mt. Province.
In Benguet, suspect Bryan Lioncio Dopinio, 19, was arrested by La Trinidad police by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Daniel D. Mangallay, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Abatan, Buguias, Benguet, Branch 64 for the crime of Rape (2 counts) with no recommended bail while Rodel Magana Roxas, 44 years old, was arrested by personnel of Itogon police by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Francis A. Buliyat Sr. of RTC, Branch 9, La Trinidad, for violation of Republic Act 9262 with bail of P80,000 each case.
    Dopinio was listed as no. 10 TMWP in provincial level while Roxas listed as No. 4TMWP in municipal level.
     In Apayao, Jonathan Aldos Ngisit, 41, was arrested by Flora police after arrest warrant was issued by Judge Francisco S. Donato of RTC, Branvh 26, Luna, Apayao for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 with recommended bail of P100,000.
    In Mt. Province, Kyle Sodchig Tongngao, was arrested by Paracelis police after arrest warrant was issued against him by Judge Sergio T. Angganay Jr. of RTC Branch 35  and 36, First Judicial Region Bontoc, Mountain Province for violation of RA 7610 with no bail.
