15 Baguio cops led by Col. Lonogan awarded

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Fifteen police personnel assigned to Baguio City Police Office were cited here June 27 for meritorious services. Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald O. Lee and command group members   presented the awards. 
    Leading the awardees was Baguio police director Col. Glenn B. Lonogan who received Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP efficiency medal for implementation of police visibility in Baguio, wherein maximized rush hour deployment of Baguio cops earned praise and appreciation from residents and visitors of the city. 
    A similar award was also given to Lt. Col. Roldane E. Cabatan, chief of Traffic Enforcement Unit; Lt. Col. Renny D. Lizardo, commander of City Mobile Force Company; Maj. Dencio A. Dayao  station commander of Police Station 1; Maj. Roger Kurt L. Pacificar, station commander of Police Station 7; executive master sergeants Jaime C. Abrera of PS 2; Alfredo P Lomerez of PS 3, Gerry C Rigos of PS 4; Noel G Julaton of PS 5; Mayo P Goyo of PS 8; Dominador G Santos of PS 10; Charles K Cawaen, Jr of Mobile Patrol Unit; Patrolmen Michael Talbo Walter Tomi of Traffic Enforcement Unit and Pat. Jorylen A Tacbas of Tourist Police Unit. 
    The Baguio City Police Office was specially mentioned by Philippine National Police officer-in-charge, Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. saying police visibility implemented in Baguio City should be replicated by all local police units nationwide.
