Cordillera PNP head, wife hold Bauang outreach

BAUNG, La Union – Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald O. Lee and his wife Bong Lee initiated a joint medical outreach program in partnership with the La Union Provincial Police Office and UCCP Calumbaya here in Barangay Parian Weste on June 26. 
    As provincial police director of La Union, Col. Jonathan G. Calixto welcomed participants and the team of Police Regional Office Cordillera.
    Punong barangay Imelda B. Coquia of Parian Weste, in her message expressed  appreciation to PNP officers who initiated the program in their barangay. 
    A total of 307 residents of Parian Weste and barangays attended the program. 
    The Regional Medical and Dental Unit Cordillera, provided free medical consultation with free medicines to 108 beneficiaries.
    RMDU personnel led by Col. Jessiemyr held a lecture on proper oral hygiene then they distributed free dental kits. 
    Meanwhile, 15 residents availed of free haircut services from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15. 
    The Lee couple headed distribution of school supplies and slippers to children while free assorted vegetables were turned over to the barangay officials of Parian Weste for redistribution to their constituents. 
    “Ginawa natin ang programang ito bilang pasasalamat sa lugar na aking kinalakihan at bilang pakiki-isa sa UCCP anniversary celebration,” Lee said.
    Also present during the program were Brig. Gen. John C. Chua, PROCor Deputy regional director for administration; Col. Benjamon Sembrano, PROCor deputy regional director for operations; Col. Elmer Ragay, PROCOR chief of regional staff; and other PROCor key officers.
