1 killed, one hurt in N. Ecija Road crash

CARRANGLAN, Nueva Ecija – One persons was killed while another was injured in a road accident in Barangay Capintalan, Carranglan at around 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).
    Nueva Ecija Police said that vehicles involved were an L-300 utility vehicle and two single motorcycles.
    Maintenance personnel of the Dept. of Public Works and Highways immediately responded to a fatal road accident.
    A report of Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office response team assigned in the area said the L-300 vehicle was traveling along Daang Maharlika when it hit the two motorcycles, killing one of the riders on the spot and injuring the other rider who was rushed to the hospital.
    Police did not disclose names of victims pending notification of their families.  
    A DPWH service vehicle brought the motorcycles involved in the crash to the police station.
    The team also helped manage traffic flow and cleaned up the accident scene for the safety of other motorists.
