Owner cooks, sleeps; Baguio house razed

BAGUIO CITY — Police urged residents here to be mindful of things they do especially during the holidays to avoid fire incidents.
This, after a residential house in Purok 14, Proper Cypress Point, Irisan was razed Monday morning.
Reports said Baguio City Fire Station of the Bureau of Fire Protection immediately rushed to the vicinity assisted by police and Irisan Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
The fire started 9:44 a.m. and declared out 10:40 a.m.
Investigation of  BFP Baguio bared the fire started due to an unattended stove as the owner fell asleep while cooking.
The damage was estimated at around P45,000.
