PROCor awards four police units, five officers

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- The Police Regional Office Cordillera, headed by director Brig. Gen. David K. Peredo Jr. cited four police units and five outstanding personnel for their valuable contributions during the month-long celebration of Police Community Relations.
    The regional police information office bared this saying awardees received their PNP medals from lawyer Samantha Jean Hamada, representing Mayor Benjamin Magalong of Baguio City and Peredo Jr. here at regional police headquarters July 31.
    Unit awardees were given Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal). 
    Mountain Province Police Provincial Office was awarded for being the Outstanding Police Provincial Office and the Mt. Province Provincial Mobile Force Company as Outstanding Police Provincial Mobile Force Company in Police Community Relations for 2023.
    Same award was given to Buguias Municipal Police Station of Benguet Provincial Police Office for being Outstanding Municipal Police Station in Class "B" category, while Bakun police station received same award for being Outstanding Municipal Police Station in Class "C" category.

For individual awardees, Police Commissioned Officers who received Medalya ng Kasanayan were Lt. Col. Ruel Tagel, acting commander of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 as Outstanding PCAD Senior Police Commissioned Officer, while Capt. Angeline Donpaen, public information officer of the Baguio City Police Office received same award as Outstanding PCAD Junior Police Commissioned Officer.

For Police non-commissioned officers, MSg Luane-nelle Baydan of Pudtol MPS received same award as Outstanding PCAD Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer, while Cpl. Rodolfo Guilliao, Jr., of Mt. Province PMFC received same award as Outstanding PCAD Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer.

Another Medalya ng Kasanayan was given to NUP Rodel Bagay of Tinglayan MPS, Kalinga PPO, for being the Outstanding PCAD Non-Uniformed Personnel in Police Community Relations for Calendar Year 2023.
