Police arrest P90,000 fugitive

TABUK CITY – Lawmen arrested a rape suspect with a monetary reward of P90,000 for his capture on Aug. 9 here in Barangay Dagupan.

Police identified the suspect as John Pancao y Biao, 42, married, carpenter and presently residing here at Uma, Lubuagan.

Presiding Judge Joseph Patnaan, presiding judge of regional trial court Branch 36 in Bontoc, Mountain Province earlier issued an arrest warrant for Pancao’s capture with no bail bond recommended.

A shotgun with one bullet was earlier confiscated from the suspect who is now incarcerated at the city jail.

Joint elements of 3rd Regional Public Safety Battalion, Cordillera and Tabuk police led by Chief Insp. Bobby Glenn Ganipac arrested Pancao around 7 a.m. that day.
