2 men nabbed in Abra for hacking, shooting victims

TAYUM, Abra – Two men were nabbed in separate insidents here for hacking and shooting their victims respectively.
Police nabbed Oct. 23 a farmer at Pila, Patucannay here identified as Fernando V. Talledo, 61 for hacking Jojo T. Lencio, 27, resident of the same place.
Prior to the incident, the suspect and the victim together with some companions were having a drinking spree when a heated argument ensued between them that prompted the suspect to hack the victim hitting the left part of his neck.
The victim was immediately rushed to Abra Provincial Hospital, Bangued, for medical treatment while the suspect was immediately arrested by police who confiscarted the the weapon used.
A courtcharge is now being readied for filing against the suspect.
In a separate iniceident on Oct. 30 at about 8:30 PM, a suspect was arrested after shooting his victim due to a heated altercation here at SitioLuguit, Barangay Patucannay.
The victim was identified as Crispin A. Andallo, 42 while his assailant was named as David Vibas, 32.
Both were residents of Patucannay.
A Tayum police report said the victim and the suspect had a heated altercation regarding the victim’s missing fish net, of which the suspect was being pinpointed as the culprit.
Prior to the incident, both parties were throwing stones at each other when the suspect suddenly drew a gun and shot the victim that hit his right hip area.
The suspect jailed by Tayum police while while the victim was rushed at the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.
