No power in Baguio, Benguet areas Apr 11

The National Grid Corporation of
the Philippines will shut down some of
its transmission facilities in Baguio and Benguet on April 11 from 7 a.m. to 5
p.m. which will affect power distribution of the Benguet Electric Coop.

P. Gaydowen, NGCP spokesperson said the shutdown is part of its annual
preventive maintenance of its 75MVA power transformer No. 2 and equipment at La
Trinidad substation simultaneous with line maintenance along La Trinidad –
Lamut and La Trinidad – Itogon/Philex line.
Normal
operations will immediately resume after work completion, she said, adding the
public is advised to take necessary
preparations and precautions for scheduled power. interruption.
