Paracelis couple bags Mr, Ms DENR-CENRO title

PARACELIS, Mountain Province – The first search for Mr. and Ms. DENR-CENRO (Dept. of Environment and natural Resources-Community Environment Natural Resources Office) involving five senior high schools of Paracelis, was held by  DENR personnel in collaboration with Paracelis local government themed, “My Environment, My Responsibility,” here at municipal hall recently.

Jerry Ferrer of Butigue National High School and Mara Jane  Baladdong bagged the title of Mr. and Ms. DENR-CENRO Paracelis.

 Five pairs of senior high school students joined the search for Mr. and Ms. DENR-CENRO Paracelis: Precious Joy Agustin and Gar Heinrich Domingo from Anonat National Agricultural and Vocational High School (ANAVHS), Glea Malawis and Faizal Gubia-on of Bacarri National Trade and Agricultural School (BNTAS), Baladdong and Jerry of BNHS, Irish Pearl Eway and Kenedy Dumallig of Paracelis National High School (PNHS), lastly, Zyra Chorawan and Julius Bangilan of Paracelis Technical and Vocational High School (PTVHS).

The event was initiated and led by Julie May Egue of  information section and other personnel of  DENR-Paracelis.

The pageant aims to promote environmental awareness and drive youths to be responsible in preserving the environment, organizers said.

 The main contested activities of the pageant utilized recycled materials.

“The surrounding environment is the best erudite master to teach us the fundamental laws of nature and basis of living”, said Jerry Ferrer of BNHS who with Ms. Baladdong bagged the title of Mr. and Ms. DENR-CENRO Paracelis.
