Truck falls MP ravine; 2 women dead, 13 hurt

PARACELIS, Mountain Province – Two women died while 11 others were seriously wounded when a Fuso dump truck fell down a 20-foot ravine here around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

A police report identified the fatalities as Lorrea B. Boccao and Lolita B. Vinoray who were declared dead on arrival while other passengers were being treated at Tabuk Provincial Hospital in Tabuk City, Kalinga.

One of the injured was brought to Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Police said the accident happened at Sitio Cassag, Barangay Bacarri wherein the driver was identified as Rubenson B. Baguiwan.

Paracelis is around 46 km to Tabuk.

From Tabuk, it is almost the same distance to Tuguegarao.

It is around a 2-hour and 30- minute ride from Paracelis to Tuguegarao via Bulanao in Kalinga.
