DFA-Baguio to receive clients on May 18

BAGUIO CITY – The Department
of Foreign Affairs (DFA)-Consular Office in Baguio City will resume operation
on May 18 with necessary safety health measures to be implemented.
In a press statement on
Thursday, the DFA said several precautionary health measures, including
physical distancing and use of face masks, will be enforced to ensure the safety
of all clients as well as the safety of the attending personnel and service
staff.
It also said that
appointments for March 9 to May 15 which were affected by the enhanced
community quarantine (ECQ) will be accommodated from May 18 to August.
All those concerned will
receive emails for their new schedules to go to the DFA-Baguio office to
prevent the flocking and crowding.
Those affected who will
not be able to receive a schedule through email are advised to call (02)
8234-3488 while those who earlier used an email but are unable to access such
address may send an email to rco_baguio@yahoo.com with the subject Covid-19
reschedule and send the following information: full name (first, middle, and
last name); date of original appointment; date of preferred new schedule; and
contact number (preferably a mobile phone number).
