44 nabbed in Cordillera for rape, murder, drugs, estafa

DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Some 44 individuals with warrants of arrest were
arrested by Cordillera cops Jan. 31 to Feb.6.
Baguio City Police Office topped the list with the arrest of 16 wanted persons followed by Benguet Provincial Police Office with 11 arrests then by Abra with 9, Ifugao, 6 and Kalinga with one arrest.
In Ifugao, Joshue Esteban Opay was arrested by Tinoc town police for rape.
In Lamut town also in Ifugao, Dominic Dumansi Libayo was also nabbed for rape and lasciviousness.
In Benguet, Elmo Dimas Aglasi was arrested by Tublay town police for illegal drugs.
In Itogon, Benguet, Chrisanto Bandao Napadawan was arrested for violation of RA 9262 or the Violence against Women and their Children Act.
In Bakun town, Joshua Dangiwan Dona-al was arrested for violation of RA 7610 (Special protection of children against abuse, exploitation and discrimination Act).
In Abra, Reymond Battaog Gumpad, was arrested by Lacub town police for rape and sexual assault.
This, as Raul Pataray Tejero was arrested by Tayum town police for violation of RA 7610.
In Baguio, Pacdal police arrested Jim Vincent Rasalan Geronimo for rape, Joel Binwag Caldito for murder and Elmer Bangsoy Omaweng for theft.
Still in Baguio, Loakan police nabbed Allan Kevin B Belwa for estafa.
Meanwhile, in joint operation of Baguio and Benguet police, Edson “Eds Taudi/Ed Taudi Bangbanga was arrested for murder.
In another joint operation of the same units, Flordeliza Lopez Adarog was nabbed for estafa.
