Cordillera cop shot dead in Pangasinan

Pangasinan — A police officer was shot dead by unidentified assailants in this
town Monday morning.
Cpl. Reynald Reyes, 29, was on his way to work when he was killed in Barangay Poblacion.
Reyes, a member of the Cordillera police’s Special Weapons and Tactics unit, was initially thought to have figured in an accident.
Nurses at the Sual Primary Care Infirmary where Reyes was declared dead on arrival found gunshots to the head and leg of the victim, according to case officer Sgt. Rennon Mislang.
Reyes was wearing his uniform and driving a motorcycle when he was killed.
