Cordillera cops awarded for drug drive, services

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald O. Lee awarded medals to six cops from Police Provincial Offices in a virtual ceremony here May 31. Lt. Col. Elmo Warsiyen Aspilan  and Master Sgt. Felimon Kinao Dulyongan, both from Kalinga PPO, were awarded Medalya ng Kagalingan for successful marijuana eradication at Barangay Loccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga on May 12 to 14 led to  destruction of P41,200,000 worth of marijuana plants.
    The same medal was awarded to Capt. Yojean C. Cabay and PCMS Jerry Bacoco Oloan of Mountain Province PPO, for arrest of marijuana couriers and confiscation of 90.75 kilos marijuana worth P3,609,000 through  checkpoint operation at Ampawilen Junction, Sadanga, Mountain Province on April 23.

Meanwhile, the Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to SSg Noemie Calsiyao Dumagdag and other personnel of Kalinga 1st Provincial Mobile Force Co. (PMFC) for their services rendered to a family who lost their home in a fire at Tanudan, Kalinga through 1st KPMFC’s Project “Kabadang,” their adaptation of the PNP adopt a family program.

Another Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to Cpl. Rizaldy C Orque of Mountain Province PMFC for his carrying a patient who was recently discharged from the hospital to his home in Barangay Gueday, Besao, Mountain Province through the traditional “Innasiw” on May 20.
