PROCor cites top personnel

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Eight personnel of
the Police Regional Office Cordillera were awarded with medals while a unit was
awarded with a certificate of recognition here August 2.
Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronlad O. Lee with the regional command group, led presentation of awards.
Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to Col. Ryenaldo Pasiwen and Col. Joshua Alejandro for successful conduct of Oplan “Dothraki,” counter insurgency operation the led to confiscation of several firearms, grenade and ammunition in barangays Nabuangan and Isidro of Lebang, Conner, Apayao.
Also, Medalya ng Pagtulong sa Nasalanta medals were awarded to Patrolman Romar Doral and Pat. Noel Pangilinan for rescuing passengers and driver of a taxi cab that was crushed due to recent Typhoon Fabian at Camp 8, Kennon Rd. Baguio City.
Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to Col. John Chua for his “excellent supervision and significant contributions” to the Cordillera JRTF-ELCAC OPCEN anti-insurgency drive which garnered “Best performing operation center nationwide” first semester this year.
Same award was given to Lt. Col. Sibly Dawiguey for serving as head secretariat of the Center.
Medalya ng Kasanayan was also awarded to Brig. Gen. Lawrence Coop for “valuable services rendered as a chairman of the PROCOR Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board.
“His professionalism and high sense of responsibility greatly contributed in the attainment of administrative thrust of the PNP,” his citation read. Same award was given to NUP Robilyn Rojas as secretariat head.

Medical and Dental Unit, received by Col. Geraldon Adanglao, RDMU chief “for
being the cleanest office during the inspection conducted in line with the
PNP’s intensified cleanliness policy.”
