Pangasinan Covid-19 cases increasing anew

DAGUPAN CITY — The number of active
Covid-19 cases in Pangasinan is increasing again with 252 new infections first
week of October.
Records from the
provincial health office showed there were 265, 266 and 277 active cases on
Sept. 27, 28 and 29 respectively.
The number went down to
220 on Sept. 30 and to 178 on Oct. 1.
As of Oct. 2, the total
active cases in the province stood at 2,096.
Among the towns
being monitored for having a high number of
active cases were Bani with 138; Sison, 129; Umingan, 126; Mangaldan, 90;
Lingayen, 81; San Carlos City, 77; Bayambang, 69; Malasiqui, 68; San Fabian and
San Manuel with 53 each, and Binmaley, 52.
Dagupan,
the only independent component city in Pangasinan, has 188 active cases.
