CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet --No major poll-related incident was recorded in the Cordillera even after election day.
Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald O. Lee bared this saying this was due to combined efforts of police, other government forces and communities.
“The conduct of the election in all precincts in the region went smoothly,” Lee said.
“Hopefully, as we await the proclamation of the results of the 2022 national and local election, may we be able to maintain the peacefulness and orderliness in the Cordillera and the whole country as well.”
To ensure   elections in the Cordillera will proceed smoothly, Lee earlier ordered  deployment of other members of the police command group and regional staff as area supervisors.
