Judge’s wife shot dead in Ilagan

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — The wife of a regional trial court judge in Isabela was shot dead by motorcycle-riding men in Barangay San Felipe, Ilagan City on Wednesday.
    Reports identified the victim as Agnes Palce, 58, wife of Cauayan Regional Trial Court Branch 40 Judge Ariel Palce.
    Police said the fatality, who was recently promoted internal audit department manager of the Isabela Electric Cooperative 2, was on her way home to Tumauini town when the assailant overtook her Toyota Innova near a gasoline station at around 5 p.m.
    The backrider allegedly shot Agnes, who was on the front passenger seat, hitting her right jaw.
    She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Isabela Doctors General Hospital.
