Province – Col. Sibley P. Dawiguey assumed command as Mountain Province police
director here Thursday at Camp Montes,
provincial police headquarters.
Police Regional Office director for operation Col. Ronald V. Gayo presided assumption of command of Dawiguey witnessed by Gov. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan Jr.
Dawiguey, in his message, expressed gratitude to the Philippine National Police leadership who entrusted him with the responsibility.
He also sought support of provincial police making the province peaceful.
“It is a privilege yet challenge to serve in my own province,” said Dawiguey, who haild from Besao town of the province.
Dawiguey was former chief of police Regional Operations Division before replacing outgoing provincial director Col. Rey De Peralta.
Gayo thanked Peralta “for bringing Mountain Province PPO to greater height of accomplishments even in a short period” and congratulated Dawiguey for accepting his appointment.
“We give our full trust to challenge yourself in not only meeting the standards laid upon you but also raising them even higher than what is expected. We know the responsibility you have is neither an easy one nor to be taken lightly. And there will be an enormous amount of pressure to be expected from this. However, rest assured that you will deliver what is expected of you or even more. And this is all for the benefit of the province you serve and the livelihood of the people within it,” Gayo said.
