Kalinga LGU worker nurse found dead in submerged vehicle

TABUK CITY, Kalinga -- The bodies of an employee of the Kalinga provincial government and a government nurse were found in a vehicle submerged in an irrigation canal here Thursday, Oct. 20.
Tabuk City
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and police personnel retrieved
the vehicle after it was discovered around 6 a.m. at the boundary of
Barangays Calanan and New Tanglag.
Victims were
identified as Marlon Agnaya, an employee of the Kalinga provincial
administrator’s office and Gerald Gagelonia, nurse at the Kalinga Provincial
Hospital.
Raul
Labawan, owner of a restobar in Barangay Masablang said the fatalities came
from his restobar and left before midnight.
