NPA-cleared villages’ folks complete TESDA training

LAL-LO, Cagayan — Sixty-six residents from barangays of Abariongan Uneg and Calasitan, both of Sto. Niño, Cagayan, graduated from three courses offered by Technical Education Skills and Development Authority-Cagayan.

    Also, 20 trainees from barangay Abariongan Uneg successfully completed the Beauty Care Services NCII of the Livelihood Training conducted in the barangays cleared of New People’s Army insurgents on Wednesday, Nov. 9th.

    Another18 trainees from barangay Calassitan successfully completed Body Wellness Massage, while 28 students successfully completed the three-day training on theoretical driving course.

    The said trainees also completed their assessment at Aparri Polytechnic Institute with the support of 17th Infantry Battalion.

    The 17th Infantry “Do or Die” Battalion under Lt. Col Oliver C. Logan said the troops of the 17th Infantry Battalion will continue to secure and assist the developments that will sustain the gains of gov’t campaign against the communist terrorist group.
