SUV rams post in Baguio to evade overtaking vehicle; power disrupted, restored

BAGUIO
CITY -- Police of Camdas Police Station 2 here responded to a vehicular
accident along Bokawkan Road early afternoon of Feb 3.
According to the report from Camdas Police Station, Rodmar D. Gomgom-o, driver of a Ford Tinanium Everest, ascended towards Naguillian Road when suddenly another vehicle overtook him.
He tried to avoid the overtaking vehicle causing him to hit the electric post.
The vehicular accident caused power interruption in several areas in Baguio City.
Immediately, responding police officers of Camdas Police Station together with EMS personnel conducted medical assessment and intervention.
The driver was reportedly unhurt.
According to the official Facebook page of the Public Order and Satety Division- City of Baguio, Benguet Electric Cooperative crew immediately went to the site and restored power.
