2 men nabbed in Tabuk City for P129-K shabu

TABUK CITY – Two men were arrested here last week for illegal drugs.
    Another high-value drug personality was arrested while P61,200 worth of shabu was confiscated by lawmen during implementation of search warrant here in Purok 3, Barangay Lacnog East on March 23.
    Reports submitted to regional police director Brig. Gen. David K. Peredo Jr. at the police regional headquarters in Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, arrested was Bongbong Ongat Tayab, 29.
    The report said operatives of Kalinga Police Provincial Office, Regional Intelligence Division and Regional Drug Enforcement Unit implemented search warrant issued by Judge Randy B. Bulwayan of Branch 39, 2nd Judicial Region, Regional Trial Cour, Lubuagan, Kalinga.
    Tayab was found at his residence with 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing nine grams worth P61,200.
Inventory of confiscated items was witnessed by Marilou Carino of Dept. of Justice, Janette Alagao, media representative and barangay chief Alex Yac-ao Addawi of Lacnog.
    The suspect and confiscated items were brought to the custody of Tabuk City Police Station where charges for illegal drugs were filed against him.
    Meanwhile, a certain Jack Innog Maggongoy, 20, and a resident of Lacnog was also arrested with P68,000 worth of shabu in his possession on March 23.
    Anti-illegal drugs operatives of Kalinga Police Provincial Office, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 and Regional Intelligence Division arrested Maggongoy following warrant also issued by Judge Bulwayan. Lawmen found 14 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 10 grams valued at P67,800 from the suspect's residence.
