11 wanted persons nabbed; no crime in 65 Cordillera towns

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Sixty-five Cordillera towns recorded zero crime incidents, while 11 wanted persons were arrested in police  manhunt operations August 27 to Sept. 2, the regional police information office bared in a report.
    Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division records revealed  the Baguio City Police Office recorded highest number of arrests, with three  wanted persons apprehended, followed by Apayao Police Provincial Office and Ifugao PPO with two arrests each while Abra, Benguet, Kalinga and Mountain Province PPOs had one arrest each. 
    Meanwhile, due to intensified police presence, 65 towns in the region and four police stations in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents in these areas during the same week.
    Zero crime incidents were recorded in six municipalities in Benguet, six towns in Kalinga, 10 in Ifugao, nine in Mountain Province, seven in Apayao and 27 towns in Abra. 
    Meanwhile in Baguio City, police stations of Loakan, Legarda, Aurora Hill and Marcos Highway also recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in Baguio City.
